ORANGE PEEL CHUTNEY
Ingredients
Peel of one orange washed and chopped into bits.
Urad Dal – 1 tablespoon
Red Chillies – 2 numbers
A small bit of Tamarind
Jaggery – 1 tablespoon
Salt – 1 teaspoon

Method
In a Kadai, add half a tablespoon of oil & sauté the washed and chopped pieces of orange peel for 5 to 7 minutes and keep aside. In the same Kadai add urad dhal & roast well, then add red chillies roast a little, add tamarind and switch off the flame.
Allow it to cool, then add this along with the orange peel, jaggery & salt to a chutney jar and grind to a coarse thick paste. You can adjust the spice and jaggery according to your taste.
