Arm Lymphedema occurs in about 1 in 3 women who have had breast cancer treatment. Lymphedema is a progressive condition and early intervention is better.

 

Ignoring Lymphedema can cause increased infections and further damage to the lymphatic system. This can also lead to Sepsis or whole body infection.

The Lymphedema Program at Prameya Health is a unique holistic and multi-disciplinary program with cancer specialists, yoga therapists, and physiotherapists helping you to prevent and manage lymphedema.

Who is at risk?

Women who have undergone surgery and radiation for breast cancer treatment. Obesity adds to the risk of breast cancer patients.

Duration of the program

The lymphedema care program is completed in 3 sessions. The initial session lasts for 3 hours with two monthly follow up sessions.
