OATS- WHEAT- CHOCO- CHIP COOKIES
Oats – 1 cup Butter – 1cup
Wheat flour- 1/4th cup
Sugar (powdered) – 1cup
Vanilla powder/ cardamom – ½ tsp
Chocochips – 1/4th cup
Roast oats till you get a nice aroma. Once its cooled grind it into a fine powder. Keep butter outside refrigerator till it becomes soft, then whisk it with a hand or electric whisk till stiff peaks are formed. Now add sugar powder and mix well.
Add vanilla or cardamom powder and mix well. Add oats powder and wheat flour to the butter and mix it without lumps. Remember not to knead it too much as it will become chewy. The dough should be soft like Gulab Jamoon consistency.
Make small balls and add chocochips and flatten it with hand in desired shaped. Preheat oven for 10 mins. Bake it at 180 degrees for 15 to 20 mins.
These cookies stay good up to 7 days in a dry airtight container. Alternatively, can be baked on stove top also. Chocochips can be replaced with almond pieces/ flakes.
