Whole wheat flour – 1 cup

Apple puree – 1cup (Strained)

Date pulp – ½ cup (Strained) Olive oil- ½ cup
Vinegar – 1tbs

Baking powder 1½ tsp

Baking soda – 1tsp

Salt – 1pinch
Clove 4-5

Cinnamon – 1inch

Ginger – 2 inches
Almonds – Few Crushed

Vanilla essence – 1tsp


Take a cooker and layer it with handful of rock salt and keep a small plate in the centre. Remove the rubber gasket in the lid and whistle. Grease a cake tin and keep it aside.

Preheat cooker for 10 to 15 minutes on low medium flame just before placing the cake.

To a bowl, sift all the dry ingredients, in another bowl mix all the wet ingredients. Mix wet and dry ingredients mix gently using cut foldmethod. Transfer the mixture to the greased tin. Keep it on low mediumflame for 10 mins and on low flame for next 30 to 35 mins. Once you getthe aroma check with a toothpick to know if it is done. Once done allowit to cool and then cut it into pieces.
