Faculty Development Programs

Empowering Educators

Prameya Health’s Faculty Development Programs

The nobility of the teaching profession comes with considerable challenges, including long hours, vocal strain, emotional stress, and managing student well-being, which can significantly impact teachers’ health. Recognizing these unique concerns, Prameya Health offers Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) designed to support teachers’ overall well-being through a multi-dimensional holistic approach based on the FENS Dimensions—Physical, Emotional, Nutritional, and Social wellness.

Why Teacher Wellness Matters

Teachers shape future generations, yet their health is often overlooked. Common issues like varicose veins from prolonged standing, vocal strain from continuous speaking, and mental stress from handling students’ emotions, and additional work load can lead to long-term health hazards. In addition to improving their health, teachers’ well-being fosters a happier and more effective learning environment for students.

Our Holistic Approach
The FENS Dimensions

Our FDPs incorporate the FENS model to ensure a comprehensive wellness strategy:

F - Physical Well-being

Addressing posture correction, movement therapy, and preventive care to combat issues like varicose veins and fatigue.

E - Emotional Well-being

Helping teachers manage stress, develop resilience, and navigate the emotional challenges of modern education.

N - Nutritional Well-being

Educating teachers on healthy eating habits to maintain energy levels and overall wellness.

S - Social Well-being

Fostering a sense of community and peer support through interactive sessions and group activities.

Apart from the normal sessions, we do offer yearly and half-yearly FDPs, tailored to schools and colleges, focusing on
