Dance/movement Therapy for Women for
The workshop include body based interventions that provide the space to explore how the body responds to different
emotions/thoughts and feelings. It also includes increasing awareness of our thoughts/feelings and response to different situations. Through the body, dance/movement therapy works towards healing the mind. The workshop also aims at improving self confidence, self image and self love. It explores themes of freedom, stress, fear and anxiety using a creative lens. Rhythms are introduced and explored using hand gestures, activities and reflection to help process, heal and co-develop techniques to handle heavy emotions.
